Project Limits:  Broadway from Main Street/Mosquito Road to Schnell School Road 

Project Work:  New sidewalks, underground utility work (sewer, storm drain, and water system), and pavement rehabilitation 

Project Contractor:  Doug Veerkamp General Engineering, Inc.

Project Start Date:  March 18, 2024

Project End Date:   End of November 2024  (**We are expecting weather delays to impact the project end date**)

March 29, 2024:  Project construction began on Wednesday, March 20th!  During the first few weeks, the contractor is potholing to confirm utilities. In the second week of April, the contractor will begin the underground utility work starting at Mosquito Road. Please pay close attention to traffic control as the work location moves during potholing, and reduce speeds in the work zones. Thank you! 

March 4, 2024: Utility companies (PG&E, AT&T, and Comcast) will be performing utility relocation work prior to the City's contractor starting work. Please pay close attention to traffic control and reduce speeds in the work zones. Thank you!
