Wendy's roots to Placerville grow deep. Her family settled here in 1850, and after finding success in Placer mining, they became business owners in town. It is out of a sense of deep seated legacy that Wendy sought a seat on the City Council. Her goal is to restore the economic viability of Placerville while preserving and highlighting our historical and natural resources.
