The City of Placerville has teamed up with our Faith Community to bring a unique twist on our annual tree lighting ceremony. The Festival of Lights will temporarily evolve to accommodate state mandated physical distancing restrictions and will be presented virtually, called Miracle on Main Street. Our beloved community has many folks who are in the “at risk” category that would otherwise not be able to view the tree lighting ceremony and having it presented virtually allows for that opportunity as well as helps some folks stay out of a cold evening. The virtual event is scheduled for November 27th at 5:00 pm where the tree on Main Street will be lit, carrying on the community tradition with a new twist to accommodate these challenging times due to COVID 19 restrictions.

- Musical Program Provided by the Faith Community
- Christmas Caroling Favorites
- A Tribute to our Law Enforcement
- A Tribute to our Veterans and.....
- Back by popular demand, the singing of Silent Night when tree is lit promptly at 6:00 pm
