The City of Placerville in partnership with El Dorado Disposal, is excited to offer free compost to the community, beginning Fall 2023.

Community Compost Collection Site Rules:
1. Compost is first-come, first-serve basis.
2. Residents are limited to 2 yards or 1 pickup truck load of free compost a week.
3. Residents must load their own compost unassisted, no machinery allowed.
4. Residents must bring their own shovel, gloves, and container.
5. Compost must be covered or tarped before leaving the site. (VEH-23114)
