Hometown Holiday on Main (formally known as Festival Of Lights) will illuminate your holiday season with a magical night in downtown Placerville! The Placerville community gathers each year, filling Main Street with family, friends, and neighbors to share a warm moment counting down to light the traditional holiday tree. Featuring Santa Claus at T.W. BONKERS from 4PM-6PM | 6:30PM-8PM.  Many local shops stay open late, with restaurants and food vendors ready to serve up delicious meals and sweet treats. Entertainment fills the closed-off streets, creating a vibrant atmosphere. It’s a simple, heartwarming tradition that families and residents hold dear.

Arrive early, parking can be a challenge, you will have a very merry time!

Event starts at 4pm and the Holiday Tree Lighting Countdown will begin at 6pm!

Street closure starts at 2:30PM and non-approved vehicles shall be cleared by 3pm.  Non-compliance may result in parking enforcement and/or tow at owners expense.  Main Street will reopen at the conclusion of the event at 8pm.
